Model Picker: Choose Your AI's Depth

We've added something we've been testing internally for months: the ability to choose how deeply your AI coach thinks through each response.

What's New

A new model selector appears in your coaching interface. You can now choose:

Fast mode - Quick responses for simple check-ins and rapid brainstorming Balanced mode - Our default, good for most coaching conversations Deep mode - Extended thinking for complex situations, major decisions, or when you need thoroughness

Why We Built This

Not every coaching moment needs the same level of depth. Sometimes you want a quick gut-check. Other times you're working through something that deserves real contemplation.

We've been using this internally to match AI response quality to the actual need—and now you can too.

How to Use It

Look for the model selector in your coaching interface (near the input area) Click to see options - each shows what it's best for Select your preference - it stays set until you change it Switch anytime - even mid-conversation if the depth of the discussion changes

Technical Notes

Your selection persists across sessions Different models may have different response times (deep mode thinks longer) All models have access to your full coaching history and context

What's Next

We're working on smart defaults that detect when you might benefit from deeper thinking and suggest switching. For now, you're in full control.
