Why it works

How to do it

  1. Write a brief inventory of what went wrong or was disrupted in the prior period.
  2. For each item, note: "This belongs to the period before [your named break]."
  3. Close the physical notebook, or delete the draft, or perform another deliberate closing action.
  4. Open a new page, file, or section for the current period.

Evidence
