What IX Coach Is For (and Not For)

What IX Coach Actually Is

IX Coach is designed for practical, ongoing thinking partnership as you navigate real-life challenges and growth.

What IX Coach Is Good At

Turning overwhelm into clarity You feel stuck or flooded A conversation helps you see options You leave with a clearer head

Seeing patterns "Why do I keep doing X?" "What's really happening here?" The coach helps you notice what you've been missing

Thinking through decisions Should I change jobs? How do I handle this conversation? What's actually important to me?

Building accountability You commit to something You report back You stay on track with what matters

Discovering yourself What do I actually want? What am I avoiding? Who am I when I'm not performing?

What IX Coach Is NOT

Not therapy Therapy processes trauma, healing, and mental health. If you're dealing with deep wounds, a trained therapist is the right person.

IX Coach: "How do I communicate better?" Therapy: "Why do I struggle to communicate? What happened that made me this way?"

Not medical care If you're experiencing depression, anxiety, or physical health issues, see a doctor or mental health professional. These need expertise IX Coach doesn't have.

Not crisis support If you're thinking about harming yourself or others, experiencing a panic attack, or in danger—get human help immediately. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 988 Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741 Emergency: 911

Not life coaching Life coaches often focus on goals, productivity, and achievement. IX Coach focuses on clarity and self-understanding.

Overlap exists, but different focus.

Not mentoring Mentors share wisdom from their experience. A mentor in your industry teaches you the ropes.

IX Coach helps you think through what the wisdom means for *you*.

The Sweet Spot

IX Coach is perfect when you're asking:

"What should I do about this situation?" "What's really going on here?" "How do I handle this?" "What am I missing?" "What do I actually want?"

It's NOT the right fit when you're asking:

"Am I mentally ill?" "I need emergency help" "I need deep healing from my past" "I need medical treatment"

Using IX Coach Alongside Other Support

Many people use IX Coach *plus* therapy, mentoring, or coaching. This works great.

Example: "I'm in therapy for anxiety. I use IX Coach for decisions about work and relationships. I have a business mentor. Each one serves a different purpose."

They complement each other.

A Humble Rule of Thumb

If you're asking "What should I do?", "What's happening?", or "What do I want?"—IX Coach is for you.

If you're asking "Is something wrong with me?" or "I need emergency help"—get a human professional.

Trust your gut. If you're unsure, both is fine.
